Welcome to the St. Monica School website for the2007-08 school year.  We are happy that we have a new way to communicate with you - our present students and families --  and all those who might be getting to know us through this means.

pulling_together_jpg.jpgAs in the past we have chosen a theme to help us keep focus over the year.  Our theme for this year is  "In the name of Jesus, we pull together for success."  Just as children or adults must work together to win a game of tug of war, so we must work together to make this a successful year -- students, staff, families, and parish.  Sometimes challenges seem insurmountable, but with Jesus as our leader and us, as energetic members of the team, God's work will be done during this 2007-2008 school year.

The visual image for us is a group of children pulling on a rope.  Each of our students and teachers was given a small piece of rope at our opening School Mass.  With this rope, we are reminded,  "Success comes when we all pull together."

St. Monica School has over 90 years of quality Catholic Education.  The quality is enhanced by the hard work and cooperation of many teachers, parents, and students.  Let us continue to make St. Monica School a place where "Faith and Knowledge Meet."
