Home and School Association |
|
The Home and School Association (HASA) is the parent/teacher organization. HASA encourages communication, involvement, and financial support by sponsoring programs, activities, and fund raising events during the year. Membership in HASA includes all school parents, guardians, and faculty. Dues are $10.00 a year per family and are included in the Registration fee.
Parent volunteers are considered as a very special resource to St. Monica School. There are many areas in which volunteers can assist in all classrooms, programs, and extra-curricular activities. A special form prepared by our Volunteer Coordinators is sent home at the beginning of the school year to provide an opportunity for parents to donate their time and skills to make our school a better place for students to learn and grow. Every parent is expected to sign up for at least one area of service.
Any volunteer who works directly with children is required to go through a limited criminal history check before working with students. This check must be renewed every five years.

2008-2009 HASA Committee Members |
|
The HASA committee members are active school parents that plan, sponsor and coordinate programs, activities and fund raisers throughout the school year. These events are made possible due to the efforts of many active parents who volunteer their time and talents. All parents/guardians are welcome to attend the HASA meetings and participate in the planning and coordination of these school events.
