Funeral Luncheons

Funeral Luncheons

The luncheon team organizes gatherings for the families to come together to honor and collaborate the lives of their recently deceased loved ones. The team organizes the menu and donations for the luncheons, serves the guests and sets-up and cleans up Columbus Hall.

GET INVOLVED: Help with the ministry by signing up to be on call to provide sides or desserts for the luncheons. Help on-site the day of a funeral for set-up, service and clean up. To sign up to be on call or for more information contact

Homebound/ Nursing Home Visitors

Homebound visitors serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, bringing the Body of Christ to members of St. Monica who are unable to leave their homes or their assisted living facilities.

GET INVOLVED: If you would like to serve as a homebound visitor, please contact the parish office for more information.

St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul collects and delivers food and monetary donations to help needy neighbors of St. Monica. The group operates a food pantry, makes home deliveries as requested by the main chapter office and provides special deliveries during holidays.

GET INVOLVED: Join our chapter to help the needy of our community. Give a financial donation in the collection baskets or donate non-perishable food items. Collection baskets are at the entrances of the church. Contact Bernie Blanda:
